About this exam

The Pendo Essentials Certification Exam provides you an opportunity to demonstrate you have a solid grasp of the fundamentals. When you pass, you’ll receive a “Pendo Essentials Certified” badge to post on LinkedIn, add to your email signature, and share with your social network. Topics on the exam include: Getting Started with Pendo, tagging, segmentation, guides, and analytics.

Exam specifics:

  • The test has 45 questions, is timed but not proctored. You have 90 minutes to complete it. 
  • A score of 75% is required to pass. 
  • If you score less than 75%, you can retake the exam after 14 days. (Two tries are included with your $100 fee.)
  • Once you start the exam, you can NOT pause it. So be sure to have 90 minutes of uninterrupted time to devote to it.
